Giving back for a cause that’s bigger than themselves, that’s exactly what Tamiko Lowry Pugh and her team does everyday and most recently in partnership with Eventfully Yours, they put together an amazing benefits concert featuring Angie Stone and Calvin Richardson Friday February 1st. Bold Favor Media Group was there and it was outstanding! While many were out at the Super Bowl getting their game on, this group of people were giving back. Giving back to a cause greater than themselves.

t’s the Soooooouuuullllllll Train, and I was in the building on the red carpet for Bold Favor Media Group along with our favorite videographer Toyin Fanina of Two Cameras and a Brush. We got exclusive photos and interviews on some of your favorite celebrities. It was a fantastic red carpet experience and this is going to be a fantastic awards celebration! 

In my column I’ll be sharing stories on people who know their worth and are refusing to settle for less. I’ll be offering tips to help people know their worth and reach their greater purpose. I want to share my message and help single moms and women make wiser choices when choosing their mate. I truly believe God has given me a gift to educate women by changing the way they view themselves hence changing the way they view what having a healthy fulfilling relationship should look and feel like.

“And the children will lead you and show you the way.”  Jalen Keown is doing just that.  The 14 year old 9th grader is showing us how we can make a difference just by showing up every and doing what we can when we can.  This is the third year that Jalen has led an Operation Christmas Child Drive, collecting toys and packaging them for those whose parents cannot afford to “do up” Christmas.  I was inspired and asked his mom, LaTosha Keown-Gray (my fellow FAMU Rattler alum) if we could interview Jalen for the magazine.  And she said yes!  Enjoy this heartwarming read.
